Each year, over 13,000 doctors in Washington DC. Maryland, and Virginia are asked to recommend just one of their colleagues as a Top Doctor. The doctors with the most votes in each specialty are designated that year’s Top Doctors.
Dr. Wolff is a Board Certified Reproductive Endocrinologist and is the founder and CEO of Pelex, a telemedicine-based reproductive health company that provides convenient access to advanced reproductive care, including fertility consultations and at-home treatment options, from the comfort of one’s home. The goal of Pelex is to prevent and treat infertility and reproductive disorders in patients throughout the US.
Upon being selected as a Top Doctor, Dr. Wolff told the Washingtonian: “I’m honored to be recognized by the Washingtonian for my work as a concierge infertility specialist. As medicine becomes more like a business, I feel lucky that I have the time to get to know patients at a personal level. This detailed understanding allows me to provide the best and most individualized fertility recommendations as they try to successfully navigate a confusing system, during what is often the most vulnerable time of my patients’ lives.”
Prior to establishing Pelex, Dr. Wolf earned her MD from Washington University School of Medicine and completed her OB/GYN residency at Yale. She was a highly-esteemed primary investigator at NIH before becoming the chief medical officer of a start-up fertility company in NYC. Throughout her career, Dr. Wolff has won numerous awards for surgery and patient care excellence.
