Where can I get testing done?

You can go to a local Quest Diagnostics, Lab Corp or testing facility with a physician’s order. Don’t want to go to a lab or prefer a home testing kit? Don’t worry, you can have a home test kit sent directly to your house and review the results with you during a Fertility Consultation.

Local lab

Who is this for?

Anyone that is interested in learning more about their overall health or fertility. These tests can be used at any outpatient lab or testing facility. This is also a resource for those who don't want to wait to see a physician to request baseline testing.

What happens after my test is done?

You can schedule a fertility consultation or evaluation with Dr. Wolff to review your results to learn about where to go from here.  The Pelex fee for ordering your baseline test can be applied towards a fertility consultation or evaluation.

1. Initial Fertility Evaluation

We can order a series of baseline tests that measure the levels of certain hormones that can help determine causes of infertility and an overall picture of your health.

  • Prolactin
  • Thyroid Stimulating Hormone

** Tests will be customized depending on your health history.

2. Day 3 Ovarian Reserve Labs

‘Day 3’ labs or blood draws are done on your third day of your menstrual cycle. This is done to look at certain hormones that help determine ovarian reserve, and are an indirect measure of the quantity or quality of eggs remaining in your ovaries. If you order through Pelex, we will appropriately time your ‘Day 3’ and make sure you have your lab order.
